Scottish dance music is a living tradition, with written sources going back to the eighteenth century, and new compositions being written today. As a dancer, dance teacher, and one of the world’s leading composers and performers of Scottish dance music, Muriel Johnstone is uniquely experienced in the tradition. She will share her knowledge and her music in a recital:
